Our test center is home to the beloved Big Sandy Machine Gun Shoot. A biannual event where hundreds of gun enthusiasts from across the globe gather for a weekend of machine gun, cannon and explosive shooting, and camping on site.
Because of our dedication to shooting and safety, our range and the Big Sandy Machine Gun Shoot event has been featured on dozens of TV and print publications.

Footage of a LAV 30 armed with the Mk 44S Bushmaster II cannon firing the 30x173mm Mk 310 Programmable Air Burst Munition (PABM) and the Amphibious Combat Vehicle firing S40 PABM (40x180mm) ammunition. The LAV 30 shot the vertical trench and the ACV the horizontal trench.
